back in nyc.

so i touched down at 4:35pm and arrived home around 6-ish. i miss texas already because the cold has given me such a tremendous headache. i don't want to think about the massive amount of work i have to do, so i decided to blog. it all went very quickly but instead of saying specifics, heres my favorite pictures from the trip:

last full day in texas. so to recap the last few days, monday was spent going to mooday gardens, looking at fish, visiting historic homes and roaming around a street called broadway. when we came back to the hotel, we headed to the heated pool. ugh, so good. monday was also movie night and we watched fun with dick and jane. i began to watch ar of the worlds, but i was lame tired and passed out. tuesday was spent on "the historic strand district". we walked around a chess set and was harassed by a scary man. then a wonderful hour in the spa: a body polish with sea salt glow. kjdhfjfhaja, sigh. after the spa, i realized i left my camera in the car, so that was sort of uncool, but i was too relaxed from the spa to get too upset. we speedwalked to moody mansion, braving against a very strong gulf gust, and made the tour, which was five minutes in. very good timing. we walked back to the strand whee i bougt some stunna shades, then caught a taxi to another store which, when we got there, was closed. so then we walked some 20-something blocks back to the hotel along the sand and sunset, listening to jonas. twas wonderful. camay cooked a lovely dinner consisting of mac and cheese, chicken with parsmesan, red pepper, and apples, paired with concord wine. what a lovely spring break it's been. here's more evidence:

texas state of mind.

greetings from the lone star state! we touched down @ 11am yesterday in houston and spent lunch in a mexican restaurant then did some grocery shopping then spent a beautiful ride (mostly asleep) to galveston. i was 10 the last time i was in texas, so it's really cool to be back.
we spent most of the night planning out the new three days, unpacking our shit into the suite, and ironing our clothes while watching cowbelles on disney. we ordered pizza from this place, i assume, is down the boulevard. very good chicken fajita pizza. mmmm. at midnight, we went to the beach in the fog. which, for me anyway, was really really scary. don't do it alone. lol.

SPRING BREAK BEGINS =]

i usually blog once a week and it is 7 in the morning and i am in my room sleepy out of my mind. but my body won't let me sleep because of this rekindled "flurry" of excitement! university campus is closed today because of the snow and i'm trying to remember when my last snow day was. i honestly don't think i've had one since elementary school. yeah, i was that one kid whose parents made her go to school in 7 feet of snow back in high school. psh, cool ass kid if you ask me.

sooo, SPRING BREAK HAS STARTED! it's kinda of an oxymoron to start spring break on a snow day. but that's new york for you. i shall finish my packing today (yeah, right). and catch up on some deserved zzz's.

in my last blog, i mentioned i was trying to get to texas. so yay! i am! this upcoming sunday to thursday, i'll be in texas with one of my best friends, camay, enjoying the weather for spring break. at least i think there'll be nice weather. i've begun packing because if i don't start packing now, i'll definitely forget something important. so that's why i pack a week in advance so i have 7 days of leeway for me to remember things i may need for a trip.

also in my last blog, i mentioned i was ansty about getting concert tickets. so yay! i got 'em! fucking section 212, row jdhvjdkvskjnowherenearthestagejnvjkdn, all the way up near the ceiling. yuck, i almost cried because the seats were so lame. but then i found out on the radio that the concert sold out. so i should be happy i got tickets? psh. ok, ok, i AM happy, but come on, fucking scalpers got all the good seats and will now be sold to those stinkin' rich brats. on the bright side, i am making it a plan to meet rooney and valora. yes, ROONEY will be there. <3 i definitely cannot wait. if camay and i get there early enough, we'll probably try and buy better seats at the box office. we'll see how all this goes.

on other news in my life, i've been suffering from horible headaches. i should get that checked, shouldn't i?
