last full day in texas. so to recap the last few days, monday was spent going to mooday gardens, looking at fish, visiting historic homes and roaming around a street called broadway. when we came back to the hotel, we headed to the heated pool. ugh, so good. monday was also movie night and we watched fun with dick and jane. i began to watch ar of the worlds, but i was lame tired and passed out. tuesday was spent on "the historic strand district". we walked around a chess set and was harassed by a scary man. then a wonderful hour in the spa: a body polish with sea salt glow. kjdhfjfhaja, sigh. after the spa, i realized i left my camera in the car, so that was sort of uncool, but i was too relaxed from the spa to get too upset. we speedwalked to moody mansion, braving against a very strong gulf gust, and made the tour, which was five minutes in. very good timing. we walked back to the strand whee i bougt some stunna shades, then caught a taxi to another store which, when we got there, was closed. so then we walked some 20-something blocks back to the hotel along the sand and sunset, listening to jonas. twas wonderful. camay cooked a lovely dinner consisting of mac and cheese, chicken with parsmesan, red pepper, and apples, paired with concord wine. what a lovely spring break it's been. here's more evidence:
