heck yeah for 3 day weekends!

currently listening to skyway avenue on my myspace and it's lovely. if you have my myspace, comment on my layout. i need opinions. also check out a couple bands 'cause they're pretty nifty: pushplay & valora. ok, so done for harmless plugs of the night.

in my last blog, i mentioned i was trying to get to texas. so yay! i am! this upcoming sunday to thursday, i'll be in texas with one of my best friends, camay, enjoying the weather for spring break. at least i think there'll be nice weather. i've begun packing because if i don't start packing now, i'll definitely forget something important. so that's why i pack a week in advance so i have 7 days of leeway for me to remember things i may need for a trip.

also in my last blog, i mentioned i was ansty about getting concert tickets. so yay! i got 'em! fucking section 212, row jdhvjdkvskjnowherenearthestagejnvjkdn, all the way up near the ceiling. yuck, i almost cried because the seats were so lame. but then i found out on the radio that the concert sold out. so i should be happy i got tickets? psh. ok, ok, i AM happy, but come on, fucking scalpers got all the good seats and will now be sold to those stinkin' rich brats. on the bright side, i am making it a plan to meet rooney and valora. yes, ROONEY will be there. <3 i definitely cannot wait. if camay and i get there early enough, we'll probably try and buy better seats at the box office. we'll see how all this goes.

on other news in my life, i've been suffering from horible headaches. i should get that checked, shouldn't i?

ok, so i know i didn't post up the pictures yet. which probably means they're never getting on here. but if you have my myspace, you'll see some of 'em. also, the ny giants won the superbowl. ticker-tape parade kept classes here in nyc pretty empty. and also, it was super tuesday this past week, did you vote? i totally did. excercise your rights, kids.

arriight, so i'm very antsy about this saturday cause i'm buying my jonas tickets for jersey. if i come online @ 10:01 and find it sold out, i think i may cry. so i'm very nervous/excited about that glorious moment on saturday. i'm writing all this down while listening to pushplay, and multi-tasking reading the meebo chat that mandy is in. thank goodness camay drives.

another thing i'm antsy for an answer for is TexASS for spring break. hopefully my parentals will agree and if so, i'll be off in a few short weeks to galveston. i'm praying it'll happen. and along with texas, hopefully mexico at the end of may. i'm crossing my fingers and wishing on 11:11's.

I know I've been MIA. . .

...and I'm truly sorry for that. I've sort of been in hiding since the death of Mr. Ledger. I haven't been able to watch any of his movies since his death. of course, HBO has to air his movies the weekend following the tragedy so i couldn't even flip the TV on. I've also had to get over jetlag and my return to university.

jetlag was horrible. i came back last monday night, began classes and work on wednesday, then became extremely stressed with lack of sleep PLUS homework. i took all of saturday to sleep off my jetlag and some of sunday, as well. this week passed by very quickly and i hope the next 13 weeks of classes passes like this one did.

As for classes, this semester feels a lot harder work-wise. i was spoiled last semester with easy classes and i, guess, teachers. but this was one of the things i prayed about in the philippines so i know God is with me, helping me to cope while i struggle. i am aiming for straight A's this term!

i promised pictures from the philippines and they are LONG overdue at this point, but hey, better late than never? they will be up at some point this weekend.

new york, you were really missed. i missed the comforts of home. glad to be back.

the only thing i want to share, for now, is my experience from the airplane and as we came upon new york city. it felt like the city was on the fire. the city lights never shone brighter. the millions of lights looked like the tip of a ballpoint pen and as the clouds rolled away, the island grew bigger and i knew we were rounding around brooklyn and queens. as we approached ground, the cars and houses looked like toys i could pick up and play with. heres a shot from my window:
